Our firm is looking for an experienced Tax Preparer and Tax Manager to join our team.. In this position, you are responsible for overseeing the tax return preparation for all our clients. You will delegate projects to our tax preparation staff and review each filing to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations. Clients may also need you to research and examine other tax documentation for planning purposes. You must be proficient with QuickBooks software and familiar with other industry software. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and E/A, will also consider applicants with Tax/Bookkeeping experience.  Compensation is based on experience.  TAX MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research, organize and review client tax documentation
• Prepare income tax returns
• Maintain compliance with tax regulations
• Conduct tax audits
• Manage your team of Tax Preparer's
• Train new tax professionals

TAX MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA /EA
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with IRS regulations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Analytical problem-solving abilities

TAX PREPARER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns
• Check documents for errors
• Meet with clients
• Provide support to clients in the case of an IRS audit
• Perform other clerical duties as necessary

TAX PREPARER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED certificate; bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• CPA/EA
• Bookkeeping experience
• Bilingual communication skills a plus
