PAS – Staff Experiences Program – Mobility Intern The People Advisory Services (PAS) Staff Experiences Program offers intern candidates like you an opportunity for a completely tailored, independently-driven, and leadership-sponsored career path. By being involved in a number of projects, you’ll broaden your knowledge and gain a better understanding of the people initiatives that impact HR, cost and tax, as well as the overall business strategy and function of our clients. Prioritizing your development in this way, along with providing access to extensive resources and tools will add momentum to your career at a highly accelerated pace.

Within the Staff Experiences Program, you’ll work with global clients to understand and address some of their largest and most complex people-related challenges and ultimately improve and drive sustainable business results. As a part of this, you’ll gain valuable experiences and a wealth of knowledge by working across capabilities, service offerings, sectors and geographies. At EY we trust our employees to deliver exceptional work – allowing entry-level employees to prove they can perform well beyond their years.

The opportunity As a PAS professional, it’s no exaggeration to say that no two days here will be the same with such a wide array of responsibilities and projects at your fingertips. That makes this a perfect opportunity to build a portfolio of highly sought-after technical and business skills right from the start. What’s more, you’ll work closely with senior people on a global basis, making this the perfect place to build a varied network of global contacts that will influence the rest of your career.

What to expect You’re likely to balance multiple projects at once, so you’ll need to be ready to prioritize your work and think on your feet every day. That will mean using your technical, analytical and acute business sense to provide tax technically sound, practical business advice and account management support to our clients. It’s an intense introduction to this area of the business, where you can expect to make meaningful contributions right from the start. So by the time you progress in this role, you’ll be a trusted professional ready to grow into a new role that leverages your strengths and ambitions.

    Your key responsibilities

    • Supporting global account and project management, including analysis of client global mobility costs
    • Developing process maps to document current and future state mobility procedures
    • Supporting equity program management and calculations
    • Understanding and advising on due diligence, transaction integration, divestitures, reward/equity programs and benefits packages – especially in relation to mobility
  • Qualifications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer software
    • Great sense of ownership of work and project assignments
    • A positive, adaptive, proactive and collaborative approach to work
    • A driver’s license valid in the U.S.

    • Flexibility to work with virtual teams and use technology to interact effectively and efficiently

What we look for We’re most interested in intellectually curious people with a genuine desire to learn about and deliver projects that will improve workplace mobility. You’ll need some technical tax skills, but more importantly you’ll be great at explaining complex ideas to people from a diverse range of backgrounds, and at all levels of the business. If you’re ready to speak up with your own ideas on how to change mobility for the better – both for individuals and businesses, this role is for you.
