Audit In-Charge (one position; full-time)

Audit In-charge, Japanese Business Services. Plante Moran, Columbus, OH. Duties include: Manage multiple external audit/tax engagements. Apply audit/tax theories and procedures for external Japanese business clients; identify engagement issues, appropriately assess impact and develop an appropriate plan for resolution; resolve difficult audit, tax and personnel issues; maintain appropriate level of supervision and work product review; provide training of audit/tax in-charges and staff; participate in formal client proposal process. Will work with 60% Japanese business clients. Local travel to client sites with occasional overnight travel (20-30%) required.   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or foreign equivalent. Must have 2-3 years of experience in an auditing position within public accounting; Must have two years of experience working with Japanese business clients. Must be fluent in Japanese and have experience in Japanese business culture.   Must have CPA Certificate with ability to practice in Ohio pursuant to mobility provisions. All experience may be acquired concurrently.
