We are a leading crop insurance agency in the Southeastern U.S., and excited to add a new Processor to our team. This is a full‐time, in‐person position based at our Winter Haven, Florida office.
Processors support our agents throughout the entire crop insurance process and play an important role on our customer‐facing team. In this role, you’ll work directly with growers, agents, and insurance provider partners to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll help prepare quotes, proposals, and official policy documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processing Operations
· Prepares crop insurance documents, including applications, worksheets, acreage and production reports, plant inventories, and farming reports, using information provided by agents and growers. Prepare renewal paperwork each season for all expiring policies.
·Works directly with growers when additional information is needed. Attends meetings with growers as needed to assist the agents with their customer relationships.
·Provides first-line internal review of prepared documents from other processors to assist with error detection and correction.
·Prepares quotes and written proposals for insurance from information provided by growers and agents, using actuarial data and quoting tools.
·Works with insurance provider personnel to resolve problems and questions regarding insurance policies and coverage.
·Takes claim and loss information from growers and files claims with insurance providers.
·Tracks processes in company information systems. Ensures all required documents are timely signed and filed in adherence to policy deadlines. Scans and archives all documents as required by policy and procedure.
·Attends all the training meetings required and also represents the company at trade shows and marketing events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must meet the required qualifications, and those who also meet the preferred qualifications will receive added consideration.
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Associate's degree or higher preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for creating documents and spreadsheets required.
· Valid driver’s license required
· Experience in any of the following is preferred :
· Commercial insurance (especially in crop insurance)
· Accounting or bookkeeping
· Tax preparation
· Government office work (especially in accounting, bookkeeping, or grant administration)
· Agriculture or nursery operations (back‐office roles)

The selected candidate must be eligible to obtain (or already have) a Florida Resident Customer Representative (4-40) license or a Crop-Hail and Multiple Peril Crop Insurance Agent (4-30) license. The 4-30 license doesn’t require any coursework or exam; it only requires passing a background check. If you don’t currently hold a license, we’ll take care of securing the 4-30 license for you once you’re hired.
