2019 - Summer - RAS Systems and Process Assurance Intern We are currently looking for a Consulting Intern for our Risk Advisory Services practice. The Consulting Intern will work with teams of information technology staff in a wide variety of systems environments. Our Risk Advisory Services group serves the technology risk related needs of our clients. This group helps clients improve, control, secure, manage and monitor the appropriate systems to address our clients information needs. We serve a diverse base of clients in a variety of industries, and understanding how technology impacts the operation and growth of organizations is what we do best. Examples of Candidate's responsibilities include: * Meeting with clients and conducting management consulting projects * Preparing reports on consulting services performed for clients; delivering reports where appropriate and discussing results and recommendations with client * Traveling to client locations as requested to provide consulting services * Performing network scanning using various public and commercial tools * Providing IT risk reduction recommendations * Implementing solutions to control weaknesses * Developing policies and procedures as it relates to information systems controls * Completing client projects effectively and efficiently and maintaining a high level of proficiency * Completing daily time reporting according to firm standards, and assists in billing of time to clients as requested * Attending appropriate professional meetings and conferences and reading publications to maintain and expand professional knowledge Basic Qualifications: * Pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university * Major Accounting and/or Accounting Information Systems or other related degrees * Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations. * Minimum 3.0 GPA Preferred * Strong verbal and written abilities * Strong multi-tasking and project management skills * Client focused * Ability to work as an effective member of a team * Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices You want your next step to be the right one.
