The opportunity
As an Associate Analyst, you will be part of one of our Service Delivery Centers, where a dedicated team of high-performing US-based professionals collaborates closely with client-facing teams to provide project-based support to our clients. Our Service Delivery Center offers a diverse range of integrated services across key industries, including commercial, financial institutions, and government sectors.
Within the Service Delivery Center, our Business Operations segment encompasses various competencies, such as EY Comply, FSO Tax, FSO Assurance, Government & Public Sector (GPS), Regulatory Compliance, FSO Credit Services, Quality Assurance Testing, and more. Each offering presents unique challenges and responsibilities, providing you with the opportunity to develop your leadership potential. Your key responsibilities
As a member of the EY Comply team, you will actively engage with organizations to analyze and navigate complex regulatory landscapes, providing tailored compliance solutions that ensure they meet legal requirements and maintain adherence to industry regulations.
Joining the FSO Tax team means you will collaborate with financial services organizations to deliver specialized tax advisory services, helping clients optimize their tax strategies while ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations.
In the FSO Assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting independent audits and assurance services for financial institutions, playing a key role in enhancing the transparency and trustworthiness of their financial reporting.
As part of the Government and Public Sector GPS team, you will provide consulting and advisory services to government entities, focusing on strategies to improve public sector performance and achieve better outcomes for citizens.
In the Regulatory Compliance team, you will assist clients in comprehensively understanding and managing their regulatory obligations, ensuring they meet compliance standards across various industries and minimizing risk.
By joining the FSO Credit Services team, you will work on delivering risk management and advisory solutions to financial institutions, concentrating on credit risk assessment and developing effective mitigation strategies.
Operate in a hybrid work environment; staff are expected to work in the office 3 times a week, and follow the guidance of their teams regarding which days are in-office vs. virtual.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor's degree in general business, finance, liberal arts and strong academic record (3.0 GPA or above)
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Ideally, you will have
Project management, teaming, organizational, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint) and willingness to learn firm and client specific technologies.
Excellent communication skills and strong written communication skills with business fluency in the English language.
