Job Summary:

This role will work with cutting-edge technologies within a collaborative team environment. The internship consists of real-world projects and deliverables which will provide exposure to a variety of technologies. Support will be provided including training, coaching/mentoring, and technical lead oversight. There will be opportunities to develop internal and client projects which have a real business impact and provide the experience and skills to equip an individual in their future career. An opportunity exists for full-time employment following graduation.

Job Duties:

• Application Development: Work will consist of hands-on web-based development, primarily based on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft .NET, and SQL Server
• Consulting: Gains an understanding of the differing needs of clients and play a part in working on practical solutions to meet client expectations
• Business Requirements Consumption: Gains the ability to "speak both tech and business" by developing a deeper understanding of written and verbal business requirements provided by team of Business Analysts and developers
• Implementation and Support: Assists with software development projects and ongoing software support
• Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

• Currently attending an accredited college or university, majoring in Computer Science, required
• Academically in good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, required
• Actively enrolled as a Junior / Senior student, preferred

Experience:

• Four (4) or more months programming experience with any technology such as ASP.Net, C#, Java, SQL, and SQL server, required
• Classroom programming experience, required

License/Certifications :

• N/A

Software:

Experience with one or more of the following required:

• Front-end Development (AngularJS, React, .NET MVC, or similar)
• Backend Development (C#, Java)
• Database Server Experience (SQL Server, MySQL or similar)
• SQL Development Experience (Queries, Functions, Stored Procedures)

Language:

• N/A

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $20.00/hr - $39.00/hr
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $20.00/hr - $36.00/hr
Washington Range: $20.00/hr - $39.00/hr
