As a Health Care Consulting Student Associate, you will gain valuable experience and exposure to a variety of health care projects, as well as being able to test your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skill set.

The FORVIS Student Associate Program is an excellent opportunity for an accounting student who would like to gain valuable experience in the consulting department of the FORVIS Cincinnati office. This program also offers potential opportunities for full-time employment and career advancement after graduation.

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
• Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Excel
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to client service
• Effective time management
• Quick-paced
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Management Information Systems Strong knowledge of basic accounting
• Demonstrated capability and experience with databases, data manipulation, reporting, and analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong computer skills and the ability to work with various computer applications, including Windows, Adobe, and various internet applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounting and/or consulting experience within the healthcare industry
• A licensed certified public accountant
