The Configuration Management and Data Management (CMDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CMDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers.
The Effectors Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to perform the role of Configuration Analyst.
This position is Onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do
Support Configuration Management Processes: Assist in the execution of CM activities, including identification, control, verification, and status accounting for systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Assist with Change Implementation: Provide support for the introduction of changes to engineering documents and contribute to the implementation of common processes under the guidance of senior team members.
Review and Coordinate Engineering Changes: Help review engineering change data and coordinate updates with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control teams.
Participate in Configuration Audits: Support configuration audits by gathering data, identifying potential discrepancies, and ensuring alignment with CM plans and contractual obligations.
Maintain Product Baselines: Assist in establishing and maintaining product baselines, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data across systems.
Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to support configuration and change control activities.
Learn and Develop CM Expertise: Engage in on-the-job training to build knowledge of CM processes, tools, and industry standards, contributing to personal and professional
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related discipline and less than 2 years of prior experience.
Experience working and collaborating in a group environment
Experience with Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
General knowledge and understanding of following policies, procedures, and processes with a strong attention to detail
Analytical approach to solving complex configuration challenges
Solid competency in project planning
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
