    Collins Aerospace is looking for a talented Production Control Professional to work onsite in our Largo, FL site for an entry level Production Control Position. At Collins Aerospace's Largo Manufacturing site, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our factory runs like clockwork. As a Product Control professional, you will leverage your expertise in material management principles to craft innovative solutions for a wide array of challenges. In this dynamic role, you will manage factory supply and demand, driving the MRP schedules that are key to meeting our customers' needs. You will analyze material availability, communicate factory priorities, and proactively identify and overcome obstacles, ensuring our factory meets its goals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our programs. Collaboration is at the heart of what you do. You will work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, coordinating activities across various groups, and providing clear and concise updates on material status. Your ability to connect and communicate will be instrumental in aligning our team's efforts to achieve our objectives.

    What You Will Do:

    • Develop and learn the skills to support a wide array of tasks required to maintain an executable MRP schedule.
    • Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
    • Analyze material availability in support of contract requirements, communicate factory priorities, identify barriers and solutions to be able to take action to ensure program goals are achieved.
    • Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that materials are provided as needed.
    • Work daily to confirm material supply and demands following Leader Standard Work.
    • Release planned requisitions or shop orders based upon master production schedule, shop load, and inventory availability.
    • Work with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
    • Report on and troubleshoot MRP system generated exceptions and take corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
    • Perform hardware cycle counts and ensure subassemblies are available at point of use (POU) on the production line for next higher installation.
    • Schedule, expedite, and facilitate movement of production material and deliverable product, through collaboration with other organizations like Logistics, Engineering, etc.
    • Accountability for use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.
    • Coordinate efforts with quality, manufacturing engineering and other support groups to process non-compliant material in a timely manner.

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Experience in material planning, order execution, and program management
    • Working Knowledge of SAP
    • Solid understanding of Production and Planning Control fundamentals, including MRP, Inventory Management, and Lean Manufacturing

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
