    Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Facilities Architect to join our team in Springfield, VA. This organization supports mission critical government programs.

    This position will require extensive customer interaction in a service-oriented environment and will work with a small team of engineers and an Architect Professional (AP). Daily tasks will involve using SAP and AutoCAD.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develops moderately complex conceptual designs, final designs and provides maintenance support for the architectural phases of buildings, equipment installations, utility systems and grounds
    • Leads and develops projects from early concept through design development
    • Prepares drawings, specifications, and construction documents
    • Reviews and documents facilities building projects
    • Consults with clients to determine their requirements
    • Coordinates preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and facilities development
    • Works with teams across building facilities and engineering lines of effort, and coordinate with subcontractors
    • Resolves design issues with innovative and practical solutions
    • Modifies existing plans to fit client needs

    Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • AutoCAD experience
    • Architectural experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture pre-start

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ years' Architectural experience
    • A n active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph

    Summary pay range Entry-level: $68,000 - $92,000

    Summary pay range Associate: $83,300 - $112,700
