    Specific Law and Global Compliance internship opportunities include:

    GLOBAL TRADE CONTROLS - Enables Boeing's business and accelerates global growth by providing expert guidance on complex trade requirements and regulations. We help identify and mitigate risk for Boeing, collaborate to solve problems with innovative solutions and shape regulatory policies to advance the company's long-term objectives.

    ETHICS - The Ethics and Business Conduct organization is a team of global professionals focused on driving an open, accountable and compliant workplace culture at Boeing, we believe that what we do is an important as how we do it. A commitment to our company values, including integrity, trust and respect, provides the foundation for our next century of innovation.

    CORPORATE COMPLIANCE - The Corporate Compliance Supply Chain Center of excellence provides support on internal audit activity related to key compliance areas. The organization improves effectiveness by integrating common procurement processes, procedures and training across the Enterprise. They create, facilitate and assist training classes for multiple Supply Chain skills and processes. Support and address all Supply Chain inquiries pertaining to sourcing processes, procedures and training.

    In these roles, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Learn from experienced professionals in the field of Law & Global Compliance

    • Form partnerships with key stakeholders to understand their business strategies

    • Learn about the representation of Boeing to the US and Non-US Governments through the preparation of import and export approval submissions

    • Assist in researching, gathering, collecting and organizing information related to Law & Global Compliance

    • Provide support on Strategic Initiatives

    Experience/Skills Needed:

    • Self-starter able to work complex issues across functional teams

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and work well in a collaborative environment

    • Good judgment and discretion

    • Regularly contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards

    • Develops solutions to problems that require ingenuity and innovation

    • Ensures solutions are consistent with organizations objectives

    Some of these position allow telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Some of these positions have been identified as virtual opportunities and do not require applicants to live in close proximity to a Boeing facility.

    Some of these positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Some of these positions may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

    Some of these positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):

    • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2023

    • Currently an enrolled student (bachelors or masters degree) attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2023

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

    • Majoring in: International Business, International Relations, Global Studies, Finance, Political Science, Business Administration

    • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above)

    • Previous internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations

    • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career with Boeing

    • Current Junior or higher class standing as of May 2023

    • The ability to telecommute

    RELOCATION:

    Some of these positions offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    SHIFT:

    These positions are for First Shift.

    Summary pay range: Min: $33,000 - Max: $90,000
