    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing has a new, innovative Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP) for engineering sophomores that will cover tuition and select expenses for the student’s junior and senior years of college, for those selected. Additionally, those selected will participate in a wide range of innovative engineering projects and product-focused activities, exposure to products across the company, mentorships, and have access to top leaders in the company, followed by a full-time position with Boeing.

    The program consists of two summer sessions followed by a three-year commitment of full-time employment with Boeing.

    Selected participants will gain hands-on experience, learn from guides, and collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

    Over the course of our 10-12 week experience you will have the opportunity to:

    • Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems

    • Experience our products up close by touring our innovative manufacturing and research facilities

    • Directly contact our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Boeing

    • Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities

    • Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry

    Join us as we build the future in Engineering! Participants will have the chance to support engineering projects in space systems, military systems, commercial aircraft or technology development.

    These positions require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

    These positions are in multiple U.S. locations and may or may not be covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

    These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate may be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Some of these positions are NASA safety-sensitive positions and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

    Some of these positions require the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2023

    • Currently enrolled or intending to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in one of following core engineering/applied sciences disciplines (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Chemical, Civil (especially Structural emphasis or interest), Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Mathematics, Mechanical, Physics, Software, Structural, Systems, Quality, Industrial Engineering Technical, Industrial Management, Operations Research, and Engineering Mechanics)

    • Currently attending one of the following universities: Washington University in St. Louis, University of Washington, Virginia Tech University, Tuskegee University, University of Southern California or University of South Carolina

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Exceptional social and collaboration skills as shown through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations

    • Strong technical experiences as confirmed through technical projects, research or engineering internships

    • Exceptional social skills and interest and passion related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing

    • Sophomore class standing or higher

    Relocation:

    These positions offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.
