    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to support the Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Air Dominance programs in St. Louis, MO.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for performing configuration planning, identification, change control, tracking, and verification, and facilitating program baseline management.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Review prime contract and supplier contract configuration management requirements.

    • Interpret configuration management plans and processes.

    • Assign and maintain product and document identification.

    • Evaluate and coordinate proposed engineering changes.

    • Prepare change control documents such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents/Change Requests (CD/CRs), Conduct program Change Control Boards (CCB), support configuration audits, generate configuration status reports, and others.

    • Collaborate with fellow configuration management engineers on configuration management principles and job practices.

    • Collaborate with customers.

    • Engage in program planning.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • A bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

    • 1+ year using Excel to perform data analysis.

    • 1+ year editing PDF and Word files.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • 1+ year of experience in engineering.

    • Experience with Change Management.

    • Ability to accomplish tasks through formal channels and informal networks; an understanding of the cultures of organizations and ability to apply this information in a way that strengthens the organization's strategic plan and profitability.

    Typical Education/Experience:

    (Level 1/Entry-Level) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    (Level 2/Associate) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Relocation:

    Summary pay range (Level 1/Entry-Level): $63,750 - $86,250

    Summary pay range (Level 2/Associate): $73,950 - $100,050
