    Job Description Qualifications:

    Position Overview:

    Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer - Circuit Design Engineer to support our E-7A Labs team in Tukwila, WA. Electrical design for E-7A labs including developing wiring diagrams, harness and wire bundle diagrams to support build and procurement. The engineer is expected to assist with build and integration and test support.

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, Associate and Experienced level Electrical Design & Analysis Engineers.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop Printed Circuit/Wiring Board (PCB/PWB) detailed design and wire bundle design drawings for release for production
    • Provide PCB/PWB build, test, and certification support
    • Perform Circuit Analysis
    • Work from engineering concept to final drawings
    • Create electrical schematic drawings for PCB/PWBs and wire bundles utilizing CAD electrical design tools (ie. Mentor Graphics Capital)
    • Establish and document complete PCB/PWB specifications
    • Provide technical expertise in selection of PCB/PWB materials and technologies
    • Provide technical oversite of PCB/PWB supplier selection, verification, and continuous improvement
    • Build tools to update large databases of data with Azure Devops (ADO)
    • Provide reports to assist with EVM status collection
    • Review, analyze, and process released functional schematics, ICDs, etc. to design and develop wire bundles for the E-7A labs
    • Provide wire bundle integration and test support as well as shop support during build
    • Perform project management tasks such as managing expected finish dates, status, etc.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post - Start is required.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Tukwila, WA.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
    • Experience with Wire Bundle Design for lab environment: wire diagram, stick diagram, interconnect design
    • Experience with agile tools (ie. Jira, or Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)) for tracking work progress and status
    • Experience creating electrical schematics (wire bundles, PCB/PWB, etc.) using computer aided design tools
    • Prior experience with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design
    • Experience with configuration management and the drawing release process
    • Experience designing circuit board level test equipment for engineering and lab use on production hardware
    • Experience with circuit design and analysis

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

    • Experience with Mentor Graphics Capital
    • Experience with wire bundle build processes
    • Understanding of basic Earned-Value Management methods, tools, and processes
    • Project management experience

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry-Level (Level 1): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred, but not required.

    Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. ABET accreditation is preferred, but not required.

    Relocation:

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Entry-Level - Level 1): $70,550 - $95,450 Summary pay range (Associate - Level 2): $85,850 - $116,150
