The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to become a member of the AvionX Engineering team serving as a Junior Electronics Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL. The AvionX Engineer will work with a multi-skilled, multi-disciplined team of engineers in the execution of complex technical hardware and firmware development of avionics products in accordance with both commercial and defense customer requirements, business objectives, and Boeing processes.
The Huntsville AvionX Power and Embedded Controls Team develop Electronic Designs, build, test and deliver Electronic/Electrical products and provide Engineering solutions for a variety of the company's government and commercial programs across the world, including commercial and government avionics, space exploration, and multiple military programs. The team is responsible for Electrical / Electronic Hardware, Test Equipment, Avionics, Smart Battery System and Wire Harness Design.
Candidates must be able to travel domestically up to 10% of their time.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in the development of electronic architecture and detailed specifications for various electronic products
Assists in the development of detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design
Gathers data for technical performance measures
Assists in providing engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product
Assists with trade studies and literature research to support future product designs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering
Experience with design and analysis engineering
Experience with schematic capture tools and board layout design
Experience with power system design
Experience in EE analysis Tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for entry-level (level 1): $66,300 - $89,700
Summary pay range for associate (level 2): $79,900 - $108,100
