The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking an Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Test I&DS Design and Planning team in Tukwila , Washington.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate Level Engineers.
Flight Test electrical engineers support the design, build, and installation of Flight Test instrumentation, equipment, and hardware onto a variety of BCA and BDS program test platforms. The electrical team is primarily responsible for the schematic definition of Flight Test wire harnesses for the purpose of collecting sensor data during test campaigns.

Position Responsibilities:
Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements for Flight Test airborne data acquisition systems on commercial and military commercial derivative test programs
Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements
Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements
Assist in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements
Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
Research basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
Develops Flight Test Wiring Electrical Diagram definition
Coordinates and assists with fabrication of Flight Test Instrumentation Wire Harnesses
Defines Flight Test data acquisition equipment architecture, layout, and configuration
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience in electrical/electrical system design
1+ years of experience with an electronic design tool
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
Experience in electrical/electrical system design
Experience with a broad range of power, signal, and instrumentation hardware used in test
Experience with wire shop fabrication capabilities including inspection & check-out
Proficiency in MentorGraphics or Microsoft VISIO

Summary pay range for Entry-Level: $70,550 - $95,450
Summary pay range for Associate Level: $85,850 - $116,150
