Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join the Boeing Design-Build Team based out of Berkeley, MO. Within BT&E, the Electrical Manufacturing Engineer supports electrical fabrication planning, fabrication liaison/coordination, and test hardware assembly by providing design review, manufacturing plan authorship, fabrication sourcing (inside and outside of Boeing), part procurement, and engineering support during fabrication.
Electrical Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration, build plan, and process requirements. Electrical Manufacturing Engineering performs Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) analysis and develops an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to ensure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements.
The primary focus of this position is support to the SuperFab fabrication facility, located in St. Louis, MO. SuperFab provides fabrication and assembly services of electrical instrumentation designs in support of both flight and lab test primarily for Boeing Defense and Space (BDS) programs. Typical SuperFab products include wire harnesses, instrumentation rack assemblies, and a wide array of instrumentation interface requirements in support of testing a broad array of products. At times, support to other teams across the organization may be required to meet the needs of Boeing programs.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate level Electrical Manufacturing Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Synthesis of test hardware & instrumentation requirements
Review of design models and drawings, creating/reviewing redlines, and coordinating with design to incorporate updates
Authorship of manufacturing plans to facilitate build
Sourcing, coordinating, and supporting fabrication & assembly work placement
Fabrication coordination and liaison (supporting fabrication technicians)
Driving part/material demand for procurement and coordinating with supplier management
Coordinating with flight & lab test engineers, program engineers, support personnel, leadership, and design engineers across Design-Build and the Enterprise
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
Experience with instrumentation/electrical system fabrication & design
Experience generating/approving work instructions, work orders, planning documents
Knowledge/familiarity with bills of materials (BOMs) and part/component procurement
Experience with wire shop fabrication capabilities including inspection & check-out
Knowledge/familiarity with AutoCAD, MentorGraphics, Microsoft VISIO, or another design tool
Knowledge of machine shop fabrication capabilities
Knowledge/familiarity with additive manufacturing processes & tools

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Entry-Level (Level 1): $63,750 - $86,250
Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $75,650 - $102,350
