The Parts Materials & Processes (PM&P) team is seeking an Electrical Parts, Materials & Processes Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role supports Huntsville production programs (PAC-3, SLS, GMD, etc.). The roles and responsibilities described below spans the entire production cycle of the program
We are looking for a broad range of experience including Entry-Level and Associate Electrical PM&P Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:
Applies engineering knowledge of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components in evaluation of new components for assembly and subassembly design
Create and revise specifications for components, and support subcontractors and suppliers to ensure electronic components are qualified for Boeing usage per the contract and the Parts, Materials and Processes (PM&P) plans
Support Electrical Manufacturing Assembly in house and at supplier locations. Both domestic and international
Conducting failure analysis and RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) as part of anomaly investigations
Use your understanding of design/requirements to recommend new and alternate electrical components for new product development and legacy programs
Represent Boeing at National Committees and represent Huntsville site/programs at Boeing enterprise DMS meetings
Support the creation and maintenance of component data for control of parts on development and production programs
Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience as an Electrical/Electronic Component Engineer
Experience with Military standards and specifications for design, test, and documentation
Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents, specifications, and drawings
Experience in an Electrical Engineering capacity
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical engineering
Experience in Electrical Assembly
Experience with Department of Defense programs
Experience with Obsolescence Management
Experience with Failure Analysis
Active U.S Secret Clearance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Typical Education/Experience:
Entry-Level (Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
