    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for an Associate or Experienced Quality Inspecter (level A, B or C) based out of Salt Lake City, Utah to support the Fabrication Division on variable shift.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving improvements within our programs, ensuring teams are prepared for continuous enhancement towards zero injuries, zero defects, and zero FOD defects.     Position Responsibilities:

    • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
    • Provides objective evidence of results.
    • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
    • Identifies and documents discrepancies.
    • Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
    • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
    • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
    • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
    • Witnesses and performs inspections of completed sub-assemblies/final assemblies or major components.
    • Review work instructions for completeness.
    • Assist other employees with functions, methods and procedures by passing on information and answering questions.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs/steps up to 8 hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.
    • Ability to complete Fall Protection Training .

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Experience working as a Quality Inspector
    • Aircraft assembly experience

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry level (level A)

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

    Associate (Level B)

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

    Experienced (Level C)

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

    Summary pay range for Entry level: $38,250 - $51,750

    Summary pay range for Associate: $46,750- $63,250

    Summary pay range for Experienced: $53,550- $72,450
