JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

BOEING GLOBAL SERVICES (BGS) is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL DATA SCIENTIST to support our team in HAZELWOOD, MO.

Determines, defines, and deploys predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet business objectives. Chooses best fit methods, defines algorithms, validates and deploys models to achieve business results. Investigates new analytic methodologies and technologies. Performs necessary data preparation and enhancements to models. Restriction: Entry into this classification is limited to candidates approved by the enterprise-wide Data Science & Analytics Skills Team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs defined data analytics tasks to meet business objectives.

• Applies standard methods and algorithms, validates results and performs necessary data preparation steps.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor Degree or Higher

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain with proven analytical practices and 1+ years’ experience.

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
