The Boeing Company - Finance Shared Services is in search of a dynamic and talented Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join the Financial Analysis Capital Team (FA CT) in Ridley Park, PA.
In this role you conduct financial analysis and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data contributing to the development of capital forecasts. The ideal candidate should bring strong communication skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions affecting capital investments. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments to meet deliverables.
Position Responsibilities:
Integrate with Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) project managers to ensure accurate forecasting, performance to plan, and appropriate capitalization of assets.
Drive dialog with BDS financial leaders to understand and assess the financial landscape of a portfolio of capital projects
Collect, compile, sort and document source data to support analysis of capital forecasts, including depreciation.
Develop performance reports
Integrate variance analyses and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management
Make recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Support process improvement initiatives
Complete peer reviews
Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to serve as a change agent
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Experience working with large data sets required (e.g. Excel, PowerPivot, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Finance or Engineering related field
Basic level of understanding around continuous improvement activities
Experience in financial compliance standards
Project management skills and the ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working in a challenging, fast-paced, geo-diverse team environment
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products for financial modeling and analysis

Summary pay range: $65,450 - $88,550
