    Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an Entry Level Illustrated Parts Catalog Author to join our team in San Diego, CA.     Position Responsibilities

    • Ability to read and visualize engineering data for the purpose of determining disassembly sequence of parts and components.

    • Coordinates deliverables with management and peers.

    • Maintains consistent authoring practices in accordance with approved specifications

    • Adheres to deadlines

    • Builds trust with our customers and shows a commitment to transparency and excellence by meeting and exceeding their expectations.

    • Works with a diverse team demonstrating listening skills, seeking feedback and responding appropriately & respectfully in a timely manner.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Associate’s Degree in a technical field OR at least two (2) years’ work experience in a related field

    • Experience understanding detailed engineering requirements

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • 1+ years experience understanding detailed engineering requirements

    Typical Education/Experience:

    • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).
