Entry Level Lab Technician

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking multiple Entry Lab Technician to join the Little Mountain Test Facility team in Hill AFB, UT.

The LMTF is a remote Government owned facility located in Ogden, UT. The facility is incredibly unique, however there are very limited amenities. Our standard work week is 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, however flexibility is required for this position in order to support operations and testing. Training is provided as often as possible; however, this position will require someone who is proactive and willing to learn the unique execution of the site, operations, and various test contracts, continuously seeking solutions to a variety of challenges .

Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers.

• Apply technical knowledge to research, develop, test and evaluate operations, support programs, modifications, repairs and technical data.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years' related work experience).

• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance

• Radiation environment testing experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active DoD Secret security clearance

• Ability to perform responsibilities as outlined above

• Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Project) to manage and document project status and reports

• LabVIEW experience

• Oscilloscopes experience
