    The Boeing Company is seeking an Entry Level Product Support Engineer to join our Boeing Global Services Commercial Derivative Service Engineering organization, which provides engineering support services to the Air Force for their fleet of E-4B aircraft. This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is for the E-4B Liaison Support Team which provides engineering support to the Air Force to help maintain and sustain their fleet of Boeing aircraft. The successful candidate work on a team resolving a wide range of technical and operational issues to ensure the continued safe operation of the fleet.

    This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Support customer requests for recurring and non-recurring tasks such as cost estimates, engineering studies, engineering data requests, and general inquiries.

    • Research engineering technical data to ensure parts are approved for use on the aircraft and that documentation is available to support loading parts into logistics systems.

    • Provide liaison support to investigate and resolve issues encountered by various organizations during sustainment and modification activities.

    • Perform part substitutions to replace obsolete parts.

    • Support Logistics and Supplier Management in procuring and repairing E-4B parts utilizing Sole Source Justifications, Technical Evaluations, Commercial Item Determinations, and Market Research.

    • Develop and maintain processes to work and close engineering support requests from the customer.

    • Perform engineering task project management.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with DoD Customers

    • Experience in aircraft sustainment requirements, USAF technical orders, or USAF maintenance operations

    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, or PowerPoint

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

    Summary pay range: 57,800 - 78,200
