    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Loads and Dynamics Engineer to join our team in Tukwila, WA. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with conducting basic loads and dynamics analyses for new and derivative vehicles using well-defined analysis tools.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assists with conducting basic loads and dynamics analyses for new and derivative vehicles using well-defined analysis tools.

    • Assists to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

    • Assists in predicting aeroelastic stability, flutter, buffet, static and dynamic forces that act on a vehicle.

    • Assists with integration of structural, inertial, aerodynamic and systems definition for analysis.

    • Participates in various test activities to ensure compliance with regulations and system design specifications.

    This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science Degree or higher in a relevant field of Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace)

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • Experience with a higher-level programming code (e.g. C, Matlab, Python, or similar)

    • Experience in Finite Element Analysis of structures utilizing MSDC PATRAN/NASTRAN

    • Experience do you have with aircraft-related structural tests, flight tests, or ground tests

    • Experience in computing equipment and its operating systems (e.g. Windows, Unix, Linux, and Open Source Tools)

    • Experience working with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods, wind tunnel testing, and integrated vehicle design

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary Pay Range: $69,700 - $94,300
