Job Description Qualifications:
The E7 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW &C) Production Engineering teams located in Oklahoma City are looking to hire Entry Level Manufacturing Engineers to work on developing build plans, work with the Program and Design teams upstream and with modification suppliers to continue supporting program execution and set up future E7 modification programs.
The Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer role is responsible for understanding the overall program definition and design requirements in order to develop ways to efficiently perform E7 modifications at supplier sites. Some domestic and international travel may be required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
Investigates technical problems.
Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
Review engineering requirements and drawings and provide manufacturability and producibility feedback
Utilize Work In Progress boards and similar tools to track daily and weekly Statements of Work
Establish make / buy plans to fabricate or purchase aircraft electrical components and wire bundles
Author and Update Electrical Installations and Modifications Shop Floor Work Instructions
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
