    Boeing Defense, Space & Security's (BDS) is seeking Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineers to join the Production Engineering Team in Mesa, AZ.

    Our Production Engineering team provides support throughout the Mesa site including: the AH-64 Apache Final Assembly and Production Flight Test areas, and Manufacturing, Electrical, and Composite Centers of Excellence, and Depot, Repair, and Overhaul.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide detailed work instructions to communicate the design engineering requirements to our Operations partners for fabrication, assembly, and installation of complex components. These range from metallic, composite, and electrical assemblies, sub-components, and parts fabrication.

    • Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

    • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

    • Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

    • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.

    • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

    • Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge, and experience.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

    • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience

    • Ability to communicate and work with cross functional organizations (e.g., Operations, Quality, etc.,)

    • Willing to provide direct engineering support in an Operations (factory) environment

    Summary pay range for entry level: $63,750 - $86,250
