    Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for an Entry-Level Manufacturing Planner to join the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC3) team located in Huntsville, AL. This unique position is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the production rate increase and advanced technology upgrade activities. This role will be involved in production support activities as well as continuous development projects improving manufacturing.

    Shift:
    This position is for a A Shift.
    A Shift: M-Th; 4x10 - Start 6am

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and planning

    • Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to review manufacturing build flows for planning producibility

    • Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions

    • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve product quality and production efficiency

    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall manufacturing performance

    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience in manufacturing planning & production support

    • Experience in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools

    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

    • Experience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering drawing and process procedures

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing planning & production support

    • STEM focused Associates degree

    • Experience working with electronic circuits specifically: PWB's, BGA's, CGA's, and LCC's

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

    • Competent in Model-Based Design

    • Competent in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

    • Competent in MESci or similar Manufacturing system

    • Competent in Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems (eg. CompassContract)

    • Experience in CAD software suites

    • Experience in Windchill or similar engineering management databases
