JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly motivated ENTRY-LEVEL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY SPECIALIST to join our team in EVERETT, WASHINGTON.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates on teams to draft health and safety programs to provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance.

• Investigates incidents and provides corrective action strategies to prevent reoccurrence.

• Conducts health and safety audits and prepares assessment reports to characterize compliance and risk.

• Conducts and documents field surveys of the occupational environment to identify and control risks

• Prepares written reports documenting the sampling process findings and makes recommendations.

• Assists in the development of and delivery of training and training materials to management and employees.

• Drafts written procedures/processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)

• Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
