JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:
Assists the integration of security and resiliency into products and services throughout the lifecycle of the product/service to meet all applicable certifications and customer requirements.
Assists with the research, collection and testing of technical data for system-level product security concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
Assists with basic product security risk/attack surface/vulnerability analyses and security audits of applications and application stacks of various provenances.
Assists with basic analysis, triage, aggregation, escalation, and reporting of relevant product security and anti-tamper data and other information sources for attack indicators and potential security breaches.
Assists in coordination during incidents.
Gathers basic data in support of the correlation and performance of trend analysis.
Assists with Analyzes of malware and attacker tactics to improve detection capabilities.
Assists with preparation of basic technical reports and briefings.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor - Information Technology, Information Security, Network and/or Cyber Security, Computer Science) or other technical areas related to Cybersecurity an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).
A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):
Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree (A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematics, scientific or information technology field of study)
Experience/coursework acquired through advanced education, related to cyber security concepts and techniques
You are curious, innovative and proactive and have excellent interpersonal skills
You have strong project management and organization skills.
You are driven, take joy and pride in your work and have a demonstrated ability to manage your time and work independently.
Coursework, project or experience with Cybersecurity techniques.
You have an interest in learning to perform and/or utilize complex data analysis techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE):
Experience and/or coursework in cybersecurity, security network architecture, embedded systems security, security testing and evaluation, network design, and PKI infrastructure
Experience assessing and documenting test or analysis data to show cybersecurity compliance
Possess any of these certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, CCNA, UNIX/LINUX System Administration, GIAC GPEN or GWAP
