    Entry Level Quality Engineer

    Company:
    Boeing Distribution, Inc.

    Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Engineer to join our team in Miami, FL.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Acts as the customer liaison for compliance with customer quality requirements and customer satisfaction

    • Monitor and track customer quality data.

    • Responsible for root cause corrective action (RCCA) and verify implementation of Corrective actions. Ensure RCCA’s meet internal and customer requirements. Basic understanding of an 8D.

    • Monitor and report on customer scorecards.

    • Supports continual improvement efforts both internally and externally (including but not limited to General understanding of supply chain flow)

    • Initiate purges and ensure containment are taken within 48 hours.

    • Able to read and interpret drawing specs

    • Assists in the writing and reviewing of technical and performance specifications, quality plans, sampling plans, and inspections procedures.

    • Support compliance with Quality Management System procedures. Assist in internal and Customer audits.

    • Able to multitask cases as needed

    • Great interpersonal skills to sustain business relationships.

    • Resourceful in seeking answers/guidance to complex problems

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering or related field of study

    • 1 year of related work experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training.

    • Understands the concept of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)

    • Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • SAP experience

    • Six Sigma certification

    • Knowledge of FAA regulations
