    Entry Level Quality System Specialist

    Company:

    Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Manage end-to-end processing of customer-generated Quality Notifications (QNs), ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and contractual requirements.

    • Perform initial review and containment actions for customer QNs, including verification of part traceability, certification (CoC), lot/batch integrity, and stock segregation when required.

    • Uses knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformances to reduce scrap, minimize rework, reduce cost and improve quality to meet all requirements.

    • Ensure all QNs are accurately documented in the QMS with complete detail, including defect description, affected part numbers, lot numbers, purchase orders, and customer impact.

    • Coordinate cross-functional investigations with Warehouse Operations, Supplier Quality, Procurement, and Customer Support teams to ensure timely resolution.

    • Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure objective evidence is documented prior to QN closure.

    • Operate powered industrial equipment including stand-up forklift and order picker (cherry picker) to support warehouse operations.

    • Monitor and manage QN aging, backlog, and response metrics, ensuring adherence to internal KPIs and customer expectations.

    • Ensure strict adherence to material traceability, shelf-life control, and handling requirements, particularly for aerospace chemicals and regulated products.

    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve order accuracy, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

    • Knowledge of customer's/supplier's organization, processes, policies and procedures, products, requirements, capabilities, practices, support resources, preferences, constraints, etc.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 1 year or more of related work experience

    • 1 year or more experience operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment, including forklift (stand-up & reach truck) and/or order picker (cherry picker).

    • Excellent problem-solving skills, and communication with other functional areas

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on deadlines

    • Experience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

    • Current or previous PIT certification (forklift, reach truck, order picker).
