    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry-Level Safety Specialist to join the team in Everett, WA.

    The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team is looking for a Safety Specialist to support various teams at the Everett Site. This position is encouraged to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify mitigations to existing and future EHS risks in the production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects, compliance, provide mentorship and cultural influence through the safety team, leadership team and airplane program.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assists with the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and process

    • Assists with preliminary investigations of safety and health incidents and complaints

    • Participates on teams to draft health and safety programs to provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance

    • Investigates incidents and provides corrective action strategies to prevent reoccurrence

    • Conducts health and safety audits and prepares assessment reports to characterize compliance and risk

    • Conducts and documents field surveys of the occupational environment to identify and control risks

    • Prepares written reports documenting the sampling process findings and makes recommendations

    • Assists in the development of and delivery of training and training materials to management and employees

    • Drafts written procedures/processes to ensure regulatory compliance

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, etc.)

    • 1+ years of experience in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)

    • 1+ years of experience performing Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene duties in an industrial environment

    • 1+ years of experience collaborating across functions and organizations

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ year of experience with safety processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

    Summary pay range: $63,750 - $86,250
