    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Security Operations Center Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, CA.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Monitors and controls physical access to company property
    • Produces and issues identification credentials to comply with company requirements to insure persons on company property are identified and are authorized to access property
    • Utilizes company standard production equipment and supplies
    • Verifies identification and proof of citizenship for export compliance
    • Enters required records into provided data management systems

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

    Security Clearance/Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Excel)
    • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
    • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
    • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including climbing ladders, stairs, lifting up to 35 pounds or 16 kilograms, lifting arms above head height, and quickly moving to different areas of the building at a brisk walking pace with or without an assistive mobility device.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with monitoring facility alarms, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
    • Proficiency in record-keeping and journal entries
    • Ability to read and interpret maps and building floor plans

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience)

    Shift:

    This position is for a rotating shift.

    This position is an Alternate Work Schedule. Shift may be 8, 10, or 12 hours, with mandatory overtime. Selected candidate will be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating and shifting schedule. This arrangement provides generous time off and flexibility.
