JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Entry Level Shipside Operations Specialist to support the team in Helena, Montana. This is a 2nd shift position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides coordination and oversight of shipside manufacturing operational issues and activities that affect production cycle time, quality, and efficiency.

• Gathers information concerning previously identified issue, coordinate with appropriate resource and track issues to resolution.

• Applies process management and process improvement techniques to support root cause and corrective action of repetitive issues.

• Utilize resources including issue tracking system to document, communicate, and provide visibility of issue resolution.

• Facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, and supports problem resolution and process improvement.

• Able to work a 4x10 (Mon-Thu) schedule on 2nd shift (typically 4:00pm-2:30am).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 1+ years working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

• Experience with Agile or LEAN methodologies

• Experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills

• Experience working in a multi-functional team environment

• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Related work experience, relevant military experience, or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

SUMMARY PAY RANGE: $45,050 - $60,950
