The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Software Engineer-Developer to join the B-52 Software Blocks (BSB) team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The software block process focuses on performing corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance on fielded B-52 software.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
Develop and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully functional system
Collaborate on software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments
Execute test procedures and document results to ensure software system requirements are met
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance (Post-Start).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience in software development utilizing Java, C++, or Ada 96
Experience in developing and deploying software programs
Experience writing and testing software
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Prioritize customer needs and build products with the end-user in mind.
Motivated to learn and grow as an engineer, with experience or interest in C++, Ada 95, Java, and more
Collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
Able to embrace change, learn from failure, and solve complex problems in an agile environment.
Experience with C++, Ada 95, Java, git, Python, Linux
Shipped products in multiple technology stacks
Experience writing production code in the mentioned technologies

Summary pay range for Entry Level: $66,300.00 - $89,700.00.
