The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry-Level Software Technical Analyst to support our Vertical Lift Software Development Team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization.
The Vertical Lift Software Development team develops software solutions for the V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook. You will work as a member of a growing team to implement and document software designs, analyze data, and generate metrics. Languages may include Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, and Java. Operating systems include Windows and Linux. Additional tools include Microsoft Office and the Atlassian suite of software development tools. Technical writing and organizational skills are highly valued.

Position Responsibilities:
Use software tools to generate basic software products (e.g., design documents, requirement specifications, software builds).
Gather and perform basic analysis of data to assess software performance/function.
Collect and input process data to support basic software metrics.
Support the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by assisting in the execution of basic test procedures and result collection.
Develop, document and check basic software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
Experience with programming principles and coding best practices
Experience working in engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience with technical writing and/or process documentation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to learn new tools, follow detailed processes and instructions, and document and communicate results in both written and verbal formats
Ability to write technical documentation when provided with clear guidance
Basic understanding of and experience with Software Requirements, Development and Testing
Experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, Java, SQL, LabView, DOORS, Agile, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), or Git a strong plus
Travel:
Possible, less than 10%.

Summary pay range for Entry-Level: $44,200 - $59,800
