    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing St. Louis is building the future - creating innovative solutions that will define the next generation of aerospace. We are currently seeking Structural Analysis Engineers (Level 1) to verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.

    These positions are located in the St. Louis region and support current and emerging aircraft and weapons programs across the Air Dominance (F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25A, MQ-28, PW), Mobility, Surveillance, & Bombers (777X), Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (Harpoon, JDAM, SDB, SLAM-ER), and Boeing Global Services businesses.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Performs limited structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
    • Participates in various test activities to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
    • Works under general supervision.

    These positions are expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start may be required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Prior experience in structural analysis
    • Experience performing hand calculations, using industry CAD system (e.g. PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM software (ABAQUS, PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks), and MS Office
    • Experience with Boeing Analysis Tools (CAESAR, LifeWorks, Common Structures Workstation).

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Entry-Level (Level 1)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
