    JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Entry-Level Structures Design Engineers to work at our Everett and Renton, WA locations.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops, maintains and modifies structural and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

    • Performs, integrates analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

    • Manages supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

    • Develops new design processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.

    • Support production and provide technical solutions, including involvement in factory build, test and associated troubleshooting.

    • Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher by the end of June 2023 in one of the following engineering majors: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Material Science (with composite focus), and select Structures degrees.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

    • Demonstrate engineering knowledge as a level 1 engineer either from team projects, internship(s), or job experience. Structural or aerospace knowledge a plus.

    TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Material Science (with composite focus), and select Structures engineering. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

    RELOCATION:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
