    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Entry Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (L1) to join their team located in San Antonio, TX.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with various internal departments including customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth material management processes

    • Incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan to optimize inventory levels and meet production targets

    • Coordinate part number attributes to ensure accurate identification and tracking of materials

    • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation

    • Document and resolve order delinquencies, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to address any issues

    • Report schedule adherence issues to management, highlighting any potential risks or delays in the supply chain

    • Apply developed solutions to inventory plans, optimizing inventory levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventories

    • Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete inventories, implementing strategies to minimize financial impact

    • Create schedules for products and services, ensuring alignment with production plans and customer demand

    • Operate material handling equipment, hand tools and power equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as necessary to receive, move, store and issue material, tooling and tools, company equipment and products, and customer furnished equipment or material

    • Perform clerical and physical tasks such as counting, sorting, identification, and damage, loading and unloading to and from material locations within assigned area(s) related to receiving, kitting, and issuing of such items as materials, components and assemblies, while maintaining basic inventory control accuracy requirements

    • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

    • Analyzes complex material requirements

    • Determines part number attributes

    • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

    • Experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

    • Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

    • Experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management

    • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

    • 1+ year of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

    • Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality

    • Experience and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP)

    • Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP

    • Strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Related work experience, relevant military experience, or advanced degree preferred, but not required.
