Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is currently seeking Entry level Software Engineers to join the Support Equipment team located in Saint Charles, MO or Hazelwood, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
As a Software Engineer (Linux\Window OS) Developer, you’ll work in a team environment to research, design, develop, modify, and maintain a wide array of software applications that meet product specification and used by internal and external customers for software loading on platform, production testing, and/or customer testing. Knowledge in Linux IDEs, C++, C#/.NET, and Python a plus. You will also be using and writing software to control electronic laboratory test equipment and you will be involved in troubleshooting software on the support equipment.

This position may require up to 10% travel.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system.
Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
Gathers information to support software project management.
Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics.
Supports software research and development projects.
Troubleshoots basic software issues.
Works under close supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required .

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
1+ years’ experience with C/C++ coding or java/python script development
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Existing Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Experience with Electrical lab equipment
Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for Experienced: $69,700.00 - $94,300.00
