    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Vehicle Management Systems Hardware Engineer to join our team in Berkley, MO (St. Louis Area).

    If you said yes, join the Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) team at Boeing St. Louis! As a VMS hardware engineer you work with an experienced team to develop flight control and subsystem control hardware architectures and requirements. You will develop supplier specifications and work with suppliers to develop and deliver sensors and electronic equipment. You will prepare integration tests and support lab and vehicle testing. You will get to see tangible results of your efforts as you contribute to any number of exciting aircraft development programs in St. Louis.

    The VMS Team is an exciting organization in Boeing Defense, Space & Security responsible for performing Engineering across a large portfolio of products and development programs. Product areas within the VMS Team in the St. Louis/St. Charles region include Fighter Aircraft, Unmanned Aircraft, and Missiles/Weapons Systems. The set of specialized capabilities and skills maintained by our teammates are the foundation of what defines the majority of our Boeing products; things that FLY!

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.

    • Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.

    • Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.

    • Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.

    • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.

    • Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Minimum of 18 years of age

    • Possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June 2024

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Summary Pay Range: $66,300 - $89,700
