    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Entry-Level or Associate Acoustics Engineers to join our team in Everett, WA.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Conducts acoustic and vibroacoustic analyses of new and derivative flight/launch vehicles

    • Assists with the design and validation of noise/vibration control technologies for structural, sidewall, airframe, propulsion systems, nacelle, rotor and component elements of flight/launch vehicles to ensure compliance with noise regulations, requirements and system qualifications

    • Conducts acoustic/vibroacoustic tests

    • Coordinates noise/vibration control requirements and validation testing to demonstrate compliance with affected design groups and suppliers

    • Develops and improves acoustics/aeroacoustics/vibroacoustic prediction and control technologies

    • Supports internal and external customer requests for operational and compliance vibration/acoustic data of flight/launch vehicles.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Knowledge of acoustics or noise control or vibration engineering

    • Experience with C++, Python, or other programming languages

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Entry-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

    Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
