Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Entry-Level or Associate Maintenance Engineers to join our team in Seal Beach, CA.

Teams within Maintenance Engineering include: Maintenance Programs Engineering (MPE), Structural Repair Engineering (SRE), Maintenance and Ground Operation Systems (MGOS), Airplane Maintenance Engineering (AME), Component Maintenance Engineering (CME), Wiring Data Integration (WDI), Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Integrated Data Systems (IDS), and Service Bulletin Engineering (SBE).
Position Responsibilities:
Develop maintenance programs that maximize aircraft utilization for our customers
Develop line maintenance and troubleshooting solutions that improve customer safety, reliability, and self sufficiency
Develop component level maintenance solutions that improve customer safety, reliability, and self sufficiency
Ensure customers have access to accurate wiring information for in-service airplanes
Ensuring Type Certification Airworthiness standards are maintained by demonstrating our products meets the FAA and its delegation authority (ODA) requirements
Enable tools and services that deliver maintenance engineering solutions to our customers now and into the 2nd century
Develop and provide consistent high-quality retrofit solutions & support for special inspections and modifications
Develop and provide structural repair solutions that enables Customer Self-Sufficiency and increases reliability
Provide technical solutions and support to airline customers on ground support equipment and operations for airplane servicing and maintenance
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Typical Education & Experience:
Entry-Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
Associate: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
