Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Seal Beach, California.

Position Responsibilities:

• Obtains proposals, evaluates sources, monitors and reports supplier performance
• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements to comply with company procedures and federal acquisition requirements
• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift:

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience applying proper writing mechanics, grammar, and punctuation to reports, essays, or other detailed writings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Entry Level 1 : Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience presenting to multiple levels of an organization

Typical Education/Experience:

Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Associate Level 2 : Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Entry Level 1 : $62,900 - $77,700

Summary pay range for Associate Level 2: $74,800 - $92,400
