    The Boeing Interiors Certification Team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Safety and Airworthiness Engineering Support Analyst to join our team in Everett, WA.

    The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you don’t. The Interiors of the airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight. Our organization is a fast paced, dynamic environment, which pulls from many engineering backgrounds. In this role, you will be responsible for statement of work that spans the product lifecycle from engaging with customer requests through supporting post-delivery changes. Your work will include the need to interface with other members of project engineering, production engineering, program/product teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions through the cabin safety certification processes. You will be able to combine the expertise and resources of the interiors organization to certify and deliver the best interiors products within the industry.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria and release, and experience working with technical requirements or technical writing. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate.

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Develops, maintains, and communicates strategies, policies, and initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Boeing products and services.
    • Assists to develop, gather and document basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
    • Assists with the application of systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of basic system of systems, systems and new product development.
    • Work with design engineers on showing compliance to the FAA regulations, developing/using issue papers, equivalent level of safety etc.
    • Assists in the development of new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
    • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Level 1: 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Level 2: 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • Experience in presenting data to customers, suppliers, and program and site leaders.
    • Associate degree or higher

    Summary Pay Range :

    • Entry-Level (Level 1): $60,350 - $81,650
    • Associate (Level 2): $73,950 - $100,050
