Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated Entry-level or Associate Equipment Install Strength Engineer to support the Air Dominance Platform Systems organization located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis using well defined analysis tools and methods to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
Participate in various test activities to substantiate for customers that requirements are satisfied
Work in a collaborative team environment with the opportunity for frequent interaction with team members and mentors
Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
0-2+ years related work experience in stress analysis.
Experience with Engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
2+ years of working experience with a Bachelor’s OR a Masters degree
Knowledge and experience in software development, programing, and coding for structural analysis tools.

Level 1: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor), or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. Summary pay range level 1: $65,450 - $88,550
Summary pay range level 2: $76,500 - $103,500
