    JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:

    The F/A-18E/F Mission Systems Analysis, Integration and Test team (AIT) has an exciting part time opportunity for an ACTIVE ENGINEERING STUDENT to join the BOEING COMPANY IN BERKELEY, MO. This individual will be working on the latest avionics and sensors for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet.

    Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists with the development and documentation of moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

    • Supports development or modification of basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.

    • Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.

    • Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.

    • Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.

    This position is expected to be hybrid, onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work 15-20 hours/week at the Berkeley, MO location.

    This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILL/EXPERIENCE):

    • Currently enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2022 with a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.

    • Cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA. (Please list your cumulative grade point average (GPA) clearly on your resume).

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

    • Have or Held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months

    • Experience in developing solutions to complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation

    • Experience in independently learning new knowledge and skills to grow personal and professional capability

    • Experience working in project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables

    • Appreciate curiosity, diversity and positivity

    • Strong oral and written communications skills

    TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    Education/experience typically acquired through partial completion of an advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
