    Job Description Qualifications:

    The Boeing Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to join our virtual People Development team as a Finance Special Projects Coordinator (Entry-Level or Associate).

    This role will primarily focus on coordinating and planning training and development events, ensuring their successful execution and contributing to the overall success of our organization. This position is intended for a professional interested in a career in finance leadership and development. It is intended that you will be in this position for 1-2 years before taking the knowledge and experience gained into another finance assignment.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and plan training and development events, including conferences, hiring events, and webinars, ensuring all logistical aspects are well-organized and executed flawlessly

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes, and develop event strategies accordingly

    • Manage budget, including tracking expenses, partnering with Meeting and Events Team to negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective solutions

    • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential event venues, suppliers, and sponsors, ensuring the best possible options are selected

    • Create and distribute event marketing materials, including invitations, promotional emails, to generate interest and drive attendance

    • Coordinate event registration processes, including maintenance of Boeing Events app, managing attendee lists, handling inquiries, and providing necessary information to participants

    • Oversee event logistics, such as venue setup, audiovisual requirements, catering, and transportation, to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees

    • Monitor and evaluate event success, collecting feedback from participants and stakeholders, and making recommendations for future improvements

    BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field

    • Able and willing to travel 20% of the time domestically

    • Experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role

    • Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

    • Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

    • Experience presenting and communicating data in Senior Leadership briefings

    • Experience building strong business partner relationships

    • Experience creating executive level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Entry-Level (Level 1)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

    Associate (Level 2)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

    Summary pay range for Entry-Level (Level 1): $50,150 - $63,000

    Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2): $60,350 - $76,000
